PVP Sucks for me
I'm resigning from GW, pvp just isn't my thing I guess, Out of the probable 300 arena fights I've been in, I've lost about 250 of them. Im not sure what Im doing wrong but nothing seems to change, think I can get my money back?

Get a guild, set up better parties, make a self-reliant comp arenas build, find one... If PvP isn't your thing finish PvE. There's more to the game than arenas.
To answer your question. No. |

Number (1) Be Patient, Number (2) Make sure you're in a well developed team, with solid tactics if you don't have that you'll never win.
Becoming good at PvP takes time, knowledge and skill. Knowing what all the skills do, and how they are used is the key to victory. |

I hate to see someone quit due to lack of winning at pvp. It's not something that one becomes good at overnight. When I first started in a pvp mmorpg, not gw, I got my ass handed to me more times than I could count. Over and over, but each time I learned a little bit.
Half is psychology. Mess with your opponents head. There are plenty of ways that you can do this, some quite passive while others require an active role. When you go up against a guild in Tombs and see they have a great rating...passive, but people get intimidated. Talk a good line. Are you a smite based w/mo? Tell 'em that you can outtank anyone, muahahaha! The other half is in character building/play. You can find tons of effective builds on these forums for pvp. Get some arena experiance with one of 'em, I suggest a warrior. Build something simple, tough, and a low priority target. Watch your opponents and see what they're doing and how effective it is. This will help you learn who the priority targets are, as well as get you some faction to unlock quality skills to further your pvp characters. Anyhow, I hope that you're able to find something that works and stay in the game. If not, gl to you in your future gaming experiances. |
